You can migrate IMAP emails to Google Workspace either manually or through a professional method. If you choose to do it manually, use the Google Workspace Admin console. First, log in to the source email account and ensure that IMAP is enabled. Then create a CSV file that includes all usernames and passwords. It sounds tedious, but is rather simple. When in the Admin console, simply click Data Migration, select IMAP as the source, and upload the CSV file. That's it, you'll initiate a migration to Google Workspace and migrate emails.
However, this pretty simple manual process can be cumbersome, time-consuming, and requires some technical experience. Plus, you're limited by batch size, risk of data loss, and lack of filtering options. With large mailboxes, there is also the possibility of timeouts or incomplete migration.
