Worth adding some context for anyone comparing options on this thread, because the feature lists tend to blur together after a while.

Scope matters first. This tool covers a broad spread of outputs PST, EML, MSG, Office 365, and Live Exchange. That breadth is genuinely useful if you're doing a staged migration, need local archives alongside a cloud move, or you're supporting mixed destinations across different teams. Breadth of output format is a real advantage when your migration isn't a single clean cutover.

If your destination is Office 365 specifically, though, the decision narrows considerably. Two things to check before committing to any tool:

  1. Destination flexibility. Can it write to Office 365 archive mailboxes and public folders, or only primary mailboxes? This catches people out constantly. A lot of migrations need archive or public folder targets for compliance retention, for shared team content, or because users have years of archived mail that has to land somewhere other than the primary inbox. Tools that only handle primary mailboxes leave you with a manual cleanup job after the fact, which is exactly the work you were trying to avoid.
  2. Domino Server vs local NSF. These behave differently, and the difference matters more than most comparisons admit. Some tools handle local NSF files well but require extra steps or configuration for Domino Server files. More importantly, previewing often isn't available for Domino Server files so verify your source type before assuming the preview will show you everything. If you're migrating from a live Domino server and expecting to review content first, check that specific capability rather than assuming it carries over from the local NSF workflow.

Also check: whether it needs a 32-bit Notes client (many do, and a 64-bit install can block the migration entirely), and whether it supports Modern Authentication with MFA, since Microsoft tenants increasingly enforce it and Basic Auth is being retired across the board.

On the Office 365 side, Kernel Lotus Notes to Office 365 covers local NSF, Domino Server files, IBM SmartCloud Notes and HCL Verse, with destinations of primary mailbox, archive mailbox or public folder. It migrates emails, attachments, calendars, contacts, journals and tasks with folder hierarchy preserved, supports selective filtering by date, category and folder, and generates migration logs. It requires a 32-bit Notes client (8.5–12.0.2) and is Office 365-only no PST output, so it's not a fit if you need local archives or Live Exchange.

Match the tool to your destination before comparing feature lists. The longest feature list is useless if it doesn't cover the one thing your migration actually needs.
