Blogging merupakan layanan untuk kegiatan menulis di internet, misalnya menulis catatan harian. Manfaat blogging diantaranya belajar menulis, belajar mengungkapkan ide dalam tulisan, dan belajar berbagi informasi. Berikut layanan blogging yang biasanya digunakan oleh masyarakat.

Kenali WordPress
WordPress adalah sebuah perangkat lunak open source yang dapat Anda gunakan untuk membuat situs web yang menarik, blog, atau aplikasi. Desain menarik, fitur andal, dan kebebasan untuk menciptakan apa pun yang Anda inginkan. WordPress tersedia gratis, akan tetapi kualitasnya tidak perlu diragukan lagi.

1. Langkah pertama adalah membuka situs WordPress, klik atau buka URL ini di browser Anda wordpress.com

2. Setelah halaman WordPress terbuka, silahkan klik "start your website"
seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh tanda panah dibawah ini

Perkembangan internet yang sangat pesat telah mendorong banyak pihak untuk menyediakan platform website gratis. Salah satu yang menyediakan platform website secara gratis adalah wordpress. Dengan Wordpress kita bisa membuat sebuah website secara mudah dan tentu saja gratis.

Membuat website dengan wordpress dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan 2 cara yaitu:
1.      Wordpress Instan (Wordpress.com)
2.      Wordpress Install (wordpress.org)

Perbedaan dari kedua cara diatas adalah pada cara pertama pengguna internet tidak perlu membeli domain dan hosting sedangkan pada cara kedua pengguna perlu mengeluarkan sedikit uang untuk investasi domain serta hosting. Jika memilih cara pertama maka domain yang dihasilkan adalah alamat-anda.wordpress.com sedangkan dengan cara kedua maka domain yang dihasilkan alamat-anda.com.

Pada kesempatan ini saya ingin memberikan sedikit bantuan jika pengguna internet ingin membuat website dengan wordpress secara instan (cara pertama). Adapun langkah-langkah membuat website dengan wordpress adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Masuk ke wordpress
    setelah masuk maka akan didapat tampilan seperti dibawah ini
   

    silahkan klik Get Started (kalau belum punya akun) atau klik Log in

2. Setelah klik Get Started maka tampilannya akan berubah seperti dibawah ini
  
  
   silahkan masukkan email (Your email adress), pilih nama pengguna (choose a username) dan pilih kata kunci (choose a password) dan klik buat  akun anda (create your account) atau bisa masuk dengan menggunakan akun google

3. Silahkan masukkan data-data yang diminta
   

4. Masukkan alamat website yang anda inginkan
  
  
   pilih alamat-anda.wordpress.com jika ingin mencari fasilitas gratis

5. Jangan lupa pilih Free Best for Student
