Deepanshu Giri is an Indian Vedic astrologer, teacher, and the founder of Lunar Astro. He is known for teaching Vedic astrology in a simple and practical way. Through Lunar Astro, he aims to make traditional astrological knowledge easier to understand for students, astrology enthusiasts, and people interested in learning about their birth charts. His work combines the study of classical astrology with research and practical chart analysis.
Deepanshu Giri's Background and Journey
According to the official Lunar Astro website, Deepanshu Giri Ji is an engineer by profession who also worked in the field of underwater robotics. During 2017–2018, he took a break from his professional career to focus on his interest in astrology.
He also comes from a family with a long history of practising astrology and Ayurveda. The website states that his family has followed these traditions for seven generations. His background and interest in astrology encouraged him to explore ancient astrological texts and develop ways to explain their concepts to modern learners.
In 2018, he established Lunar Astro Vedic Academy to share his knowledge with people interested in understanding Vedic astrology. Since then, the platform has developed online learning programmes and educational resources for students in India and other countries.
What Is Lunar Astro?
Lunar Astro is an online platform focused on Vedic astrology education, books, and consultation services. Founded by Deepanshu Giri, it provides resources for people who want to learn astrology, understand birth charts, or explore traditional astrological concepts.

Deepanshu Giri's Approach to Vedic Astrology
Deepanshu Giri focuses on making complex astrological concepts easier to understand. Vedic astrology, also known as Jyotish, uses birth details and planetary positions to interpret different aspects of a person's life. These interpretations are based on traditional astrological beliefs and methods.
Through Lunar Astro, he teaches students how to study birth charts, understand planetary combinations, and explore techniques used in astrological predictions. The academy also encourages learners to practise chart analysis rather than relying only on theoretical knowledge.
His teaching resources cover subjects such as planetary influences, zodiac signs, divisional charts, Nakshatras, and timing techniques. These topics help students build their understanding of traditional astrology step by step.
Books Written by Deepanshu Giri

Astrology Consultation and Learning Opportunities
Apart from educational resources, Lunar Astro provides online astrology consultations through a team of trained astrologers mentored by Deepanshu Giri. According to the official website, consultations involve discussing a person's birth chart through scheduled video sessions.
People can explore this service if they want to discuss questions related to career, relationships, or other personal concerns from a Vedic astrology perspective. However, astrology should be understood as a traditional belief system, not a scientifically proven method of predicting future events.
