When dealing with gigabytes of old data, native methods force you to generate SAS URLs, configure command-line utilities, and upload massive files into Azure storage blobs before ingestion even begins. If there is a network interruption or if a PST has slight fragmentation from years of local storage, the Exchange engine often skips items or fails entirely without giving a clear error log to fix the problem.
