Hi, everyone. Friends, I’m reaching out to the community because I’m really at the end of my rope. For the past month and a half, I’ve felt like a “sleepy fly” or some character from a zombie movie. Every morning starts with me trying to pull myself together, but coffee doesn’t help anymore, and by lunchtime my head feels “fuzzy,” and my only desire is to just lie down somewhere and not move.
What frustrates me the most is that I’m not neglecting my health. I’m honestly trying to do something about it: I’ve scoured a bunch of forums and read up on biohacking and ways to support the body. For the past month, I’ve been taking magnesium regularly (in a high-quality form, not the cheapest one), and I’ve added vitamin D3 in a normal dosage because everyone talks about how deficient we are in it in our climate. I’m also trying to stick to a sleep schedule—I go to bed no later than 11:00 PM and sleep for 7–8 hours. But I don’t see any changes; the result is zero. Period. My condition hasn’t changed at all, except that I’ve become even more anxious due to the lack of progress.
I’ve already seen a general practitioner at the local clinic. It ended as usual: “Get a complete blood count.” I did. The results are more or less normal, hemoglobin is at the lower limit, but the doctor said it’s “not critical” and just advised me to spend more time outdoors and stress less. That’s the same level of advice as “just don’t be sad when you’re sad.” It feels like in our hospitals, tests are done just for the sake of it, to check a box, close the file, and send the patient on their way. No one wants to look any deeper because they have a set appointment time, and when that time is up, they tell you to go for a walk because it’s good for you.
I really need help from people who have been through something similar. I’m not looking for yet another list of dietary supplements I can buy at the nearest pharmacy. I’m looking for a reputable clinic, service, or laboratory that takes a personalized approach. Where a doctor won’t just look at my white blood cell count, but will be able to help and explain why my body is malfunctioning like this.
Maybe someone knows of services (including those that work remotely) that truly specialize in functional medicine and preventive energy restoration? Someone who can help find the root of the problem, rather than just advising me to “take some vitamins.” I would be very grateful for specific names or links to your successful experiences. Honestly, I’m at my wits’ end living like this.
