Lately I’ve been wondering if Financial Advisor Ads are still worth putting money into, or if they’ve quietly stopped working like they used to. It feels like everywhere you look, there’s more competition, higher ad costs, and honestly, people seem more skeptical than ever. So I figured I’d test things out myself instead of just guessing.

One big issue I kept running into was the cost per lead. It wasn’t crazy at first, but over time it started creeping up. On top of that, not all leads were even serious. Some would sign up and disappear, others weren’t really a good fit. It made me question whether these ads were actually profitable or just burning budget slowly.

I didn’t completely stop though. I tried tweaking a few things instead. First, I focused more on the messaging. Instead of sounding too “salesy,” I kept it simple and more helpful. That actually made a difference. People seemed more willing to respond when it didn’t feel like a hard pitch.

Another thing I noticed was that targeting matters way more than I expected. Broad targeting gave me more leads, but they weren’t great. When I narrowed it down a bit, the volume dropped, but the quality improved. That alone made things feel more manageable.

I also explored a few different platforms and approaches after reading about different ways people are running Financial Advisor Ads for better lead quality. It gave me some ideas on testing smaller, niche audiences instead of going too wide. Not everything worked, but it definitely helped me avoid wasting money blindly.

From what I’ve seen, Financial Advisor Ads can still work, but they’re not as easy as before. You can’t just set up a campaign and expect results. It takes some trial and error, adjusting your message, and being okay with slow improvements.

If you’re expecting quick wins, it might feel frustrating. But if you’re willing to test, refine, and focus on quality over quantity, there’s still some potential there. At least that’s been my experience so far. I’m still experimenting, but I wouldn’t say they’re dead yet. Just a bit more demanding than they used to be.
