I have been messing around with different Adult Traffic Sources for a while now, and honestly, it took longer than I expected to figure out what feels reliable. Every forum thread makes it sound simple, but once you actually run push, pop, or native ads in the adult space, things get messy fast.
The biggest pain point for me was traffic quality. On paper, a source looks solid. Decent pricing, lots of volume, and all the formats I wanted. But once campaigns went live, I saw issues like fake clicks, low time on site, or users bouncing instantly. It makes you question if the problem is your offer, your landing page, or the traffic itself. Most of the time, it felt like a guessing game.
What helped was slowing down and testing one format at a time. Push ads gave me volume quickly, but engagement was hit or miss depending on targeting. Pop traffic was cheap and fast, but you really need filters or it turns into noise. Native ads surprised me the most. They were slower to scale, but the users stayed longer and actually explored the page. That alone made me rethink how I split my budget.
One thing I noticed is that reliability is not just about the network. It is about how transparent the source is, how much control you get, and whether you can block junk traffic easily. Some sources shine for push but fail for native. Others are great for pops if you are patient and tweak daily.
If I had to give a soft suggestion, I would say stop chasing the biggest numbers. Focus on adult traffic sources that let you test small, optimize often, and slowly build trust. Over time, patterns show up, and you get a feel for which sources actually respect your spend instead of burning it.
