You can migrate Office 365 to IMAP manually or through a third-party service. To transfer manually, you will need to export the mailbox of the Office 365 account to a PST file using Outlook. Once that is done, you will need to set up your IMAP account in Outlook and import the PST. Once everything is imported, you will drag and drop each individual email from each PST folder where the emails exist to the IMAP mailbox folders. Outlook will identify the IMAP server and sync the emails to the IMAP server.
There is a downside to transferring Office 365 to IMAP using the manual method which is it can be somewhat tedious. This is especially true if you have a large mailbox.
