Last night, my dogs killed an animal in the yard. I’m not exactly sure what it was, but I found the remains this morning and it definitely caught me off guard. They’ve always been playful and well-behaved, so this is new territory for me as a dog owner.
I’m not sure if I should be worried, or if this is just normal behavior for dogs when something enters their space. I live in an area where wildlife sometimes shows up, but this is the first time my dogs have actually done something like this.
Has this ever happened to you? How did you handle it? I’d really appreciate any advice on whether I should change anything in their routine, training, or how I manage their time outside.
