Just wanted to drop in and share something that might help if you're browsing hotels on Expedia and come across the term “Fully Refundable Property”—I recently learned what it really means the hard way.
So, I booked a hotel for a weekend trip to Miami and made sure it said “Fully Refundable Property” on Expedia. Turns out, it means you can cancel your booking and get your money back as long as you cancel within the specified timeframe (usually 24–48 hours before check-in). It's not an automatic anytime refund, which I assumed at first. Always double-check the cancellation deadline!

I had to cancel two days before my trip, and thankfully, because it was listed as a fully refundable option, I got 100% of my money back—no drama, no calls. But I’ve heard people say they missed the window and got hit with fees, so timing matters.
