I'm a small business owner and I find that trying to keep up with so many social media platforms takes up a lot of my time. Between running the business day in and day out and trying to create content with punch, it is becoming a little overwhelming. I'm thinking of hiring a social media management agency to take over content planning, posting, and maybe even ad campaigns, but I don't know where to start. The selection seems great; there are agencies that offer all-in packages while some specialize in content scheduling or ads. Then there are the contract and budget factors and if they even get my brand voice.
That's why I'm reaching out to see what your experiences were.
Have you ever worked with a social media agency?
How did you find the perfect one for your business?
What type of results did you see (engagement, followers, or even sales)?
Any red flags I should watch for?
Also curious to know if anyone’s worked with local agencies versus remote ones and if that made a difference. Any recommendations would be super helpful — especially if you've partnered with a reliable social media management agency that truly delivers.
I'm also eager to hear from anyone who may have worked with local agencies compared to distance ones, and if that made a difference. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, especially if you have worked with a trusted social media management agency that really delivers the promise of engagement.
Can't wait to read what you got! Hoping to get some nice suggestions
