Windows Built In Recovery Tool Fails. Can’t Recover Files
#1
Do not put any new data on the drive. There are many software's that can recover files on formatted drives, like BLR pen drive data recovery tool some are free, some are expensive, and some are scams. If you can find a local repair shop, take the drive to them to recover your files.

Note: In other words, formatting a USB drive does not necessarily mean it can always be retrieved.

In my opinion, successful recovery requires at least the following conditions:

Quick formatting.

The formatting did not lead to any case of data overwrite.

It is not physical damage that afflicts the USB drive, and the computer is able to detect it.

You have a good practice of doing backups frequently.

If data and records are overwritten, it becomes next to impossible to retrieve them. That is why the first thing for data recovery is always to avoid using the drive with the issues. Then, you should look for available backups, in particular within the cloud storage systems.

Many articles mention using CMD to recover a formatted USB drive. This is incorrect. The ‘attrib’ command is only used to display hidden files and cannot directly recover a formatted portable device. The ‘chkdsk’ command, on the other hand, is used to fix file system errors and bad sectors.

Most of them offer a free trial edition that will show you which software is most useful in recovering your data, allowing you to select where to invest your money. If the software does not function, you can seek professional data recovery assistance.
