Hey Odoo community,
As Odoo continues to evolve at a fast pace—especially with version 18 on the horizon—we’re seeing a growing need for better planning and execution when it comes to ongoing Odoo Maintenance Services and Odoo Support Services.
We recently upgraded our system from Odoo 15 to Odoo 17, and while the new features are impressive, the process also brought a fair share of technical challenges. We’ve encountered issues related to custom module compatibility, database slowdowns, and an increasing demand for real-time support as our user base has expanded. These experiences have made us rethink how we approach maintenance and long-term support.
Although Odoo’s out-of-the-box tools and documentation are helpful, they don’t always cover more advanced needs like performance tuning or continuous monitoring. We're now evaluating third-party Odoo support teams who specialize in patch management, uptime monitoring, and database health checks on a routine basis.

- What are the most critical SLAs (Service Level Agreements) you recommend when working with an external support provider? Do you prioritize response time, issue resolution, or system uptime?
- Has anyone automated routine support tasks such as daily backups, load testing, server health reports, or even user training through bots or scripts?
- Are there any tools, extensions, or external service providers that offer genuine 24/7 support and can handle both functional and technical issues effectively?
- For businesses running Odoo across multiple locations or using it in multi-user environments, how do you manage updates and ensure system stability without disrupting workflows?
