I’m currently working on redecorating my home and looking for some fresh inspiration when it comes to interior paint colors. With 2024 in full swing, I wanted to get a better idea of the top interior paint colors for 2024, what’s trending, what works well in natural lighting, and what feels timeless yet modern. I came across some great ideas recently shared by Dream Painting, and I have to say, their picks really stood out.
They highlighted a beautiful mix of calming neutrals, soft earthy tones, and a few bold accent shades that can really bring life into a space. Think muted greens, sandy beiges, rich terracottas, and the ever-classic off-whites and greys that work in just about any room. What I really appreciated was how their color suggestions felt both current and livable—not overly trendy, but definitely fresh.
I’m based in Edmonton, so I’m also thinking about how these colors will hold up with the changing light throughout the seasons. Winters are long and light can be limited, so I’m leaning toward tones that bring warmth and comfort. But at the same time, I’d love to incorporate one or two bolder shades in small areas like an office or powder room just to create some personality.
Has anyone here recently painted their home using some of these 2024 shades? I’d love to hear your experience—especially which brands you went with, how the colors looked once they were on the wall, and whether you’d recommend them for high-traffic spaces. Also, if anyone worked with Dream Painting for their interior project, I’d love to hear how that went. Their work looks great online, but real feedback is always helpful.
Let’s share our favorite color combos, experiences, and maybe even a few photos if you have them.
