I recently flew with Avianca through Terminal Avianca JFK NY, and I wanted to share my experience for anyone who’s traveling soon. Avianca Terminal JFK is located in Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport, and I found it to be a well-organized and efficient terminal for international travel.
Check-In and Security: The check-in process at Avianca Terminal JFK was smooth. Avianca has dedicated counters in Terminal 4, and I recommend arriving at least 3 hours before your flight to account for check-in, baggage drop, and security. The security lines can get busy, but the terminal staff was helpful in keeping things moving.
Lounge and Amenities: If you’re flying business class or have lounge access, the Avianca VIP Lounge is a great place to relax before your flight. They offer a good selection of snacks, drinks, and comfortable seating. For those without lounge access, Terminal Avianca JFK NY has plenty of dining options and duty-free shopping to explore while waiting for your flight.
