My laptop isn’t turning on. Any trusted place in Dubai to get it checked?
#1
I have had something pending like this with my Lenovo laptop couple of weeks ago- it failed to turn on. I tested the charger and used all the standard tricks, but it did not help. I did not want to visit just any shop and undergo unneeded replacements, that is why I inquired. I had one of the colleagues who had undergone the same and attended UAE Technician in Dubai. Then he said they did not just jump to any conclusion but they verified all of it and this sounded reasonable.

That is why I tried them. They had invited me to bring the laptop in and gave a complete run-down of the laptop only after carrying out a full diagnostic. To me, it was power IC problem on the motherboard. They put the problem in understandable terms and I was not harassed to have it fixed. That was fresh air of transparency.

I did have the repair done because their estimate was fair and I received the laptop in less than 2 days. So it is all right so far, there is nothing wrong. With that said I have had the experience with them once and thus cannot comment on all their services or their experience in the long run.

Me wonderin, however--is there anybody here that has ever tried UAE Technician? I want to know whether other people had a good or bad experience with them or not. Getting more feedback will always come in handy when advising another person to visit a place.

And, also pondering whether they provide the same services when it comes to MacBook problems. Let me know how it goes in case anybody takes an apple device there.
