Hi guys!!! I'd like to continue our discussion about motivation when losing weight and share some of my thoughts. I've noticed that the issue of motivation does have many facets and sometimes it's hard to stay on track, especially when it comes to long-term goals. Each of us faces periods when enthusiasm wanes and it seems like all efforts go to waste.
I've tried different strategies, and one of them is keeping a food diary. By writing down what I eat and how I feel, I become aware of my food habits and emotions. Not only does this help me keep track of my calorie intake, but it also allows me to notice when I might be stressed or tired. I'll admit that sometimes it's hard for me to be consistent, and that's where the support of friends comes in. My girlfriends and I have created a small group where we can share our successes, inspire each other and even organize joint workouts. It helps a lot in times when motivation drops. In addition, I started paying more attention to my psycho-emotional state. Meditation and mindfulness practices have helped me become more aware of my emotions and not get caught up in them. I also try to find joy in the process - whether it's new recipes for healthy eating or doing sports that I enjoy. For example, I like to dance, so I sometimes put on my favorite music and just dance around the house. It lifts my mood and helps me stay active without too much pressure.
