No official method exists to import MBOX files into Office 365. Microsoft rejects MBOX files. We must convert the MBOX file to PST and import it into Office 365.
First: Move All Data to PST
Note: Users can import PST files into Office 365. These methods take a long time to move MBOX files to Office 365. Use the below method to import MBOX files to Office 365.

How does the software work?
First: Move All Data to PST
- If your computer doesn't already support MBOX files, install Mozilla Thunderbird.
- Select “local folders” in Thunderbird 12 to import the MBOX file.
- Copy all emails from the imported MBOX file to a new Thunderbird Gmail account.
- Wait for email synchronization. Check your Gmail account via a web browser for duplicated emails.
- After closing Thunderbird, setup the same account in Outlook.
- All MBOX emails are now accessible in MS Outlook.
- On the “File” menu, select “Open & Export", then “Import/Export.”
- Choose “Export to a file,” then “Outlook Data File (.pst).”
- Select the specified account mailbox with all MBOX emails.
- Browse the destination & click “Finish” to store the PST.
