I used Tropicacyl Plus 3 ml Eye Drops before my eye exam and my pupils stayed dilated for almost 6 hours! The doctor said this drop contains Tropicamide and Phenylephrine, which help the eye specialist see the retina clearly. But the downside was extreme light sensitivity and blurred vision for a few hours. Wearing sunglasses indoors really helped. Most people say the effect wears off within 4–8 hours, but it can vary depending on your eye color, age, and sensitivity. If it lasts more than 24 hours or causes pain, consult your doctor immediately. I’d advise not to drive or use screens until vision feels normal again.
