Frustrated after bad experience
#1
I’ve hit a point where I just can’t keep patching things together anymore. A year ago, I launched a side project that turned into a surprisingly steady business — nothing crazy, but enough to keep me on my toes. The problem? I designed everything myself at first, from the landing page to the onboarding flow, thinking, “How hard could it be?” Well, turns out it’s very hard when you’re not a designer. At the start, I was excited just to get it out there, so the rough edges didn’t bother me. But now that I’ve got actual users, the cracks in my design are showing. People mention confusing buttons, unclear calls-to-action, and even bounce because they can’t figure out simple steps. I can see in analytics that I’m losing potential conversions daily, and it honestly drives me nuts.
Here’s the kicker: I tried fixing it by hiring a freelancer off a platform. Cheap rates, good-looking portfolio — seemed perfect. But after three weeks of back and forth, the end result looked almost worse than what I had before. It wasn’t just aesthetics; the UX felt like it was slapped together without any thought to how a real person would actually use it. I can’t go through that again — the wasted time and frustration set me back badly.
That’s why I’ve finally decided I need to stop cutting corners and find a proper team that knows what they’re doing. I want to work with a digital UX/UI agency in Denver — ideally one that has experience with SaaS products or ecommerce, understands user behavior, and can actually deliver something that converts instead of just looking “pretty.” I live nearby, so being able to meet up in person to discuss strategy would be a bonus.
So here’s my question: do you know a reliable agency in Denver that you’d personally recommend? I’m not looking for the cheapest option this time — I just want a team that gets usability, visual design, and business goals working together. If you’ve worked with one or heard good things, I’d really appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

Been there — I launched a small SaaS tool a while back and hacked together the UI myself. It worked… until real users showed up and I started drowning in feedback about clunky flows and confusing steps. Tried a bargain freelancer too, and it was the same story: looked okay but felt unusable. What made the difference was teaming up with a proper UX/UI group who understood both design and conversions. If you’re in Denver, enterprise design systems has that mix — worth checking out.
