Drowning in MBOX Files - Is There a Clean Way to Merge Them All?
#1
Hello,

I have recently found myself buried under a stack of MBOX files collected from different email accounts and systems. Managing each one separately has become a serious headache. It is not only time-consuming, but it’s also making it difficult to search or keep everything organized in one place. I am looking for a streamlined and reliable way to combine multiple MBOX files into a single file without losing emails, attachments, or folder structure.

I have tried searching for manual ways, but most seem to complex or corrupt-out data. I am not going to put my email at risk just to merge files. That’s when I found out about SysTools MBOX Merger on the internet. It says that it can easily merge several MBOX files together with the internal folder hierarchy structure remain same even after the merging of the files. So on disk folder structure will not change and that also without losing any Metadata like To, From, Date, and CC, BCC etc. Also, there is no limit on file size just what I’m looking for.

It also supports various MBOX files from a host of clients such as Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Eudora, etc. which is a huge plus since I have got a mix of sources across multiple platforms. So, it is the right fit for me according to my needs. As, i am working with various types of MBOX files, so it will get better as i use this tool.

Before i give it a try, I thought i would consult with the community. Anyone here actually use this thing? How was your experience? Does it realistically generalize to large data? Did you encounter any problems while opening the combined MBOX file on a client such as Thunderbird or Outlook?
